Default dedy hari kurniawan's trading journal

I made this thread just to share my trading journal, i will try my best to explain my activities in the trade forex using bonus post as my trading capital.
I'm not good for niceties so i will immediately explain how i trade forex.
The first time i trade forex since 5 years ago or 1 year before joining the MT5 Forum and until now, in the trade i never use a Stop Loss and i never practice in a demo trading. I have a principle " if traders fear a loss and always limit your losses then it will never become a true trader "
I also use indicators in trading and this indicator has accompanied me for 5 years, i do not really like with anything complicated because my character is a man who thinks simple.
I will explain in simple terms how the workings of the indicators that i use in forex trading.

All currency pairs for me to have so many opportunities depending on how we analyze the price movement. Now I'm open positions on the currency pair EUR/USD and i will give you a screenshot of my trading positions

Balance: $218.87 (since January until now)
      Leverage: 1:400

      Name: My orders.jpg

in every trade i only use 1/3 of the total capital, for example i have a capital of $150 so i only used $50 and $100 remaining capital would i use as a backup to withstand floating minus.
don't use Luck in the trade but it would be better to use Greed
hoping for something without hard work will not give anything

Usdcad looks so ripe to enter a position of a buy trade from the h4 time frame view and I think it could go as expected as it's in my plan to trade it. For now am watching closely

Well said never open any long term trade without using any stop loss if we can hold our loss trade which we can open without any strategy then it will only give us margin call and our account will be destroy, must use stop loss never hold long term losing trades it will not give us any fear of loss in live account.

I think due to expected new market will move in both ways and remain range bound. As its already month and and news which will only favor to one side will probably bring some surprise for forex traders and whole market. we can expect that market will not remain calm at the month end and will bring some decent and quick money making opportunities for us.

tomorrow there is several news which will definitely gives a volatility in this market but the expectations are high for usd going bullish ,the targeted pairs like usdjpy can give a 80-150 pips bounce and definitely it will bounce back to 110.35-50 in range.i am waiting for that move ,definitely the chance of gold hit lower recently and that target level is 1275-80 set.

Well, for me I can't see any news that will bring massive volatility today, maybe tomorrow. The movement e have been experiencing from both EurUsd and GBP-USD is not at the expense of the dollars but it's just as a result of a very weak euro and pounds, so its likely to continue that way today. For gold trading I have no input.

Agree with you dear Sixteen and this week USd very strong position. For this reason I think everybody should try to get proper knowledge about world economy, proper market analysis, follow strong money management, follow risk management, use all useful trading tools and discipline before open position in Forex market other wise simple mistake can bring big loss and margin call both. Wish you best of luck. Thank you.

of course you are right about other safe haven asset and class but i was asking about JPY specifically. When USA and North Korea have issues, always JPY increase in value even though it is right next to North Korea which for me doesnt make any sense at all

Every time I think about safe haven country, the first thing that comes into my mind is chocolate, dairy products and snow. Switzerland has their Toblerone chocolate and New Zealand with their fresh milk products and both countries have snow. Safe haven country must be safe and relaxing but dedy is right about Japan which is a neighboring country of North Korea, I know for a fact that these two countries have a border tension from time to time just like issue about fighter planes invading Japan's air space.

Are there really safe haven anymore, that died years ago when th Swiss National Bank took away the privilege from their currency when the altered the interest rate that was stable for a very long time, of course we know the negative effects it experienced, the CHF has not been able to recover completely from th shock it experienced then.

Haha chocolates really ? Even chocolate is not that safe because even if you ate it too much it would affect your body system. Right now as far as am concerned there is no place on the planet that is safe haven, every country as it own challenges, from terrorism to economy challenges and to migrant problems.
