There are many websites that can tell us about an online investment scheme, all that we need to do is use them appropriately, when we are not sure about any website that offer some ridiculous profits and benefits, it is necessary that we undertake to check from different sources about their previous dealings,

if they are fraudulent, then someone would have reported them somewhere, we can use that information to know if we are going to put down our hard earned money or neglect them, one advice is that we should never allow the motivation of greed to cause us to lose our money, don't just click submit button on any website without proper investigation.

A lot of benefits can be offered by the internet due to the fact you can easily send and receive information at a faster pace. But the truth is that it's not perfect. Cyber criminals can steal your information through the internet and this often involves spoofing and phishing scams. Phishing is when the Cyber Criminal clones a genuine website to look like the original with the intention of collecting sensitive data from the victims. Spoofing is when an online scammer sends an email with the hopes of you responding to the email and clicking on the link he sends to you. So most online scammers use both phishing and spoofing in other to victimize the unsuspecting ones. Here are some ways you can avoid online investment scams.

      1. If you are using a payment processor, you must check the URL of the original website to know if there is a slight difference because most of the time, the phishing site URL may be a bit similar to the original website.
      2. Do not respond to emails of people telling you to supply your personal information. Reply to emails or open links from genuine sources.
      3. Also, know who your hosting providers are and know how they contact you through emails because these Cyber criminals could claim that they are your hosting providers in other to steal your sensitive data.

Online scamming has become rampant these days because people want to make quick money, there was a time that ponzi scheme was serious in vogue in private country, it was so bad that people needed to be borrow money to invest, this was an online scam but unfortunately it did not appear like that from the beginning, it was the people that joined at the beginning that benefited, everyone else that entered this scheme later lost money because they did not have a good timing.

Online scam comes in form of high yield investment program which promises a substantial amount of returns on the investment, the goal is to make you salivate and invest any amount of money you can get.
