Ea/ Disconnection Problems
As it is likely that the best strategies are the long term ones. I was wondering guys if there is an EA intraday strategy that won't be too affected by server disconnections and the like, especially if you have choppy internet connection or unreliable servers . Are there any? I have been an observer of so many good minute or hourly trading ea's that succumb to this problem. Is there a reset function or a way to stop this problem from happening?
well i don't think so the server can always disturb the EA from placing the order so i think the very best is to get a VPS for your EA if only you have confirmed the EA and is really okay by you before you invest your money into it

Ah, i see, so that is supposed to be the way to a way to better money making. Does it take better knowledge of a set of certain computer languages to be able to develop and maintain one such server? I am just a beginner at programming language and if so what specific knowledge or skillset do i have to have??
a good example of an ea that would lose all its money would be a scalping robot. Not only would it lose money to disconnection problems, but it would also lose money to stop hunting and broker problems. This is a very big issue when it comes to low time frame ea which im trying to avoid.

If you have a good EA, why don't you go and rent a VPS server, this is the best choice for you in case you don't have a steady internet connection at your home, there are many cheap VPS servers everywhere.
Oh, i also heard that you can turn your computer of with vps server, however how is it possible for your EA to keep on trading while your computer is off throughout the day? The hacking possibility is still present in such a case too right? Ea can handle dc as long as has fix tp or trailing
I think this is the ea problem, it did not connect well to its server. Or there is problem with his coding or you platform did not suitable for this EA. Keep safe and good trading.
I don't think my ea has a problem; it has worked well; we all admit that the trading server sometimes disconnects itself from time to time; especially during important times. Because of this, we must take into account that if we do not have enough capital to trader; how can we opt for a better trading setting. We must work our way there first; although i admit it is very hard.
