The full time trader using these two methods of analysis. because at certain times of fundamental analysis has a considerable influence on the price movement of currencies. and one thing that should be concerned that nothing is certain in forex.

For a professional trader i recommend to state that both the analysis are required simultaneously. Psychological analysis also work good most of the times. Fundamental analysis lack the exact value of resistance or support, TA tells you the exact rate.

I have seen this title more than once in this section " technical Analysis Vs fundamental analaysis" I do not know why all this controversy !
All kinds of analysis complement each other rather than conflict
If I have seen farther than others, it is because I was standing on the shoulders of giants.

both are very important. fundamental analysis gives you the major trends of the instrument andd the technical analysis gives you the short term behaviour of the tends and the waves. elliot wave theory, fibonachi, bollinger and many more technical tools are very helpful

i strongly agree with you ,, for me i prefer to use technical analysis only to make my orders and not to use fundamental analysis as i can't know the correct effect of news on the price movement , so i can avoid trading during news .

in my opinion, technical analysis has played a role in determining the direction of price movement. Compared with the fundemental only as supporters of a currency.

after trading a long time in the Forex i feel that fundamental analysis is a lot more important then the technical analysis.once the fundamental news release then it makes the disaster on the market.tough this kind of disaster is really good but if you do not have the correct analysis then it may make you empty.so make the fundamental analysis first then make the technical.

you are right fxcasper, fundamental analysis is the core of the forex market. it helps you in determining the trend direction. if some one says it is not important, he is actually not familiar with the concept of forex

I think the Fundamental analysis is more useful and important, than technical analysis, and i am also facing losses in these days because i don't use fundamental analysis and rely on technical only.
