I think, its very old version. just update to latest version. I tested Metatrader android platform in both 2.3.4 and 4.0.4 versions. Its working awesome. Indicators are working too.

yes I think as you too. that is old version of android so you must be upgrade too to getting support for your android. so you can installing MT4 platform

Android 2.1 or higher is required if you want to install mt4 on mobile. I am using HTC that is based on android and trading is qquite smooth on the mobile. Other then android you can use the same on the windows mobile.

I think if we are want to make serious on trade we need the best platform. Using mobile device to make trade is not wise i think. We are understand if forex market is really high risk business. So, if we are make mistakes because the analysis is not complete it will make our trade going bad. For me i better to trade with Computer to make sure i can make good analysis.

I think mobile trading platform was best choice for trader on the go, just when we are only in traveling. We didn't want to loss the good chance and good moment to open position in trading. So we always should monitored the market, and make a deal where ever we are, and mobile platform was the way out

mt4 platform is a popular trading software in Forex trading. But, it has some problems. I think that meta trader 4 platform for android 1.6 is not suitable for insta forex trading. Sometime it gives error, it takes some late.

I think the android version of metatrader 4 will not perform its best in Android 1.6. I will prefer you to install meta trader 4 in higher version of Android like (froyo), (HoneyComb), (Gingerbread), (Ice Cream Sandwitch) and (Jelly Bean). Because MT4 is updating for Android platform soon.
