THE DANGERS WITH SCALPING

SCALPING is the one of the popular methods of making money in forex, but you must agree with me that there great dangers in it. the dangers lies in the situations like these:

1)choppy markets

2)volatile arket

3)ranging market

the implications is that traders who trades with scalping in the above market situations might loss money. SCALPING IS GOOD IN A TRENDING MARKET AND IN A LESS VOLATILE SITUATIONS.

another good warning is this, if you must scalp, make sure you are glued to your computer and also be suer of power supply because scalping can be delicate, it can mess your account.

one case among the dangerous cases i met when doing scalping is when i open a trade in the opposit direction the trend move in thinking that the price will go back in that point but the price continues to move in the same direction and hit my stop loss.

so the best is to not open opposit trades until the trend start to really move in the opposit direction.

The basic dangers of scalping are things you wouldn't consider them as such at first, like the spreads you are paying. If you have 2-3 (or more, like 4-5 pips) pip spreads on the major pairs, I don't care how good your broker is in general, it is not good for scalping. If you are paying more then 10-20% of your profits on spreads alone (not really that difficult to amount to that when you grab 10-20 pips here and there, right?) then the odds are stacked against you big time and you have to be really good at scalping to overcome it.

Scalping is good for those who can sharply determine the trend, and at the same time, the trend goes immediately that way. Its risky.

I have to disagree.
Depend on scalping style.
You can trade with a GRID (many small positions) and taking scalps.
With such strategy volatility is even wellcome.

my dear your artical is great and i wanna remider about there some scalping starategy depend on indicators like bollinger band can make take some pips on 15m frame . all i mean that some starategy can cross this three dangerous point but we need to try and practice on them on demo account first .

I think all trading system whether its swing, scalping or position have the same risk. Its only depend on the trader which one they really feel in touch with. some of scalping trader for sure wont feel happy if need to trade swing or position system due its too long for them.
