GO TO TOOLS- OPTIONS- Expert Advisors and do the following: Check Box-Enable Expert Advisor Uncheck box- Disable experts when the account has been changed uncheck box - Disable experts when the profile has been changed Check Box- Allow Live trading Uncheck box- Ask manual confirmation That should do it.. Also when you Add your EA to the Chart, you will get a Options Window that Pops up.. make sure you Check- Live Trading- Long and Short- And turn off ALL confirmations... If you are still having issues, then It could be the Broker, Some times the broker will Shut down - DISABLE TRADE MODE- because your EA is causing an overload to their servers, Like your EA could be an agressive scalper and or your EA may adjust SL TP or modify Pending orders Too Often.. brokers do not like this!.. If your EA works on DEMO, Your Code is FINE... dont listen to these people,, they have no idea what they are talking about! |

And even the guys who created the platform will admit that each broker has different settings. One of the unique things about the official MetaTrader Auto Trading World Cup is that the platform you use in that contest has no back end restrictions (as per the programmers) FX Clearing has the reputation of having very loose tolerances on their demo strategy tester and very tight settings with lots of requotes and the like on their live trading. It is also well known that the new MT5 compiler is much more stringent than the Mt4 compiler. And they never tightened MT4 because they were developing MT5. I am quite certain that the MT4 compiler does not check for loops per sae as you do a compile check. Only for correct equation relationships and balanced relationships. You can however see some loops generated in the trade journal when you run a historic test. You should always check the journal tab after a historic run to find any errors or loops that are generated there. I know for a fact that an Expert Advisor will make trades and look like it is working in the historic tester and you will see it trading on the chart all the while it is creating massive amounts of loop and error code entries. So, my friend I am afraid that it is you who doesn't know what they are talking about. Have you ever checked your journal tab or is all of your code absolutely perfect from the get go?? |
