i have EA i got, when i test it it make profit, from 12 trade 1 lost and 11 win, it is very seldom open trade perdays only 2 trade and sometime it is not trade, so we have to wait the EA make trade, it is only funtionaly to GBPUSD, stop lost 140 pips, take profit 1 = 50, take profit 2 = 100 pips with trailing stop 15 pips.....

140pips stop loss is kinda large isn't O_o especially for GBPUSD.

Talking Re: What Expert Advisor (EA) are you running right now?

This is backtest result (from June 1st to August 1st 2010) of an old EA i made last year, started with $1000 and ended with $11770 with max drawdown 23.71%

I hope it will be this good when i forward test it this month (or may be next month, when i had the time)

When viewed from the image seem based on basket trading because of the equity above the balance. The results are very promising. But if I see in the picture, modeling quality of the backtest is only 65.57%. What good is supposed to be 90%. By the way good luck for your forward test

There were 10 mismatch chart error during the backtest so it only get 65.57%
And it seems that the EA is very sensitive with spikes(since the SL is small), when i test it on other brokers(InstaForex and LiteForex) their performance was bad.

I made that test with AdmiralMarkets because they also have demo contest.
and after i tweak it further the EA can even turns $1000 into 1 Million in less than 2 month LOL, but since it*s very sensitive with spikes might not be so profitable in reality

Anyway, the forward test on LiteForex wasn*t good, as expected ^_^ that*s why i postpone my forward test on InstaForex, may be i should test it on AdmiralMarkets first

@ryc_warlock: i can make my EA to have that smooth line also if i use large SL
The base code of my EA is quite complex, it can even be profitable without using any indicator or signal, i can just set an initial order randomly sell or buy and the EA will open the next orders to make the overall floating orders profitable.

Looks like both ryc_warloc and Addamz*s EA are based on martingale. Especially Addamz*s EA based on random order at first order, then next order have lot multiplied.

@ ryc_warlock and Addamz :
- If I may know how much relative drawdown ?
- If I am permitted, I help you backtest to have a 90% modeling quality.
